| Movers came today -
yesterday I tweeked my left arm (pop in forarm area, tender)
was frustrating day but ends well
dead battery in am, walked around to find someone up
made it to appm just before movers
ran over estimate by 2 hours
ready to leave - dead battery - sent them along (Pooch was at house)
got jump but in process locked keys in car
had to call roadside assist
and phone ran out
but got new battery in car, got furniture in house

| All hanging clothes now hanging in new place
Switch plates ordered
Took jacuzzi tub
Slept in new place
Got rug for under dining room table
Put in rain shower head
Moved cat to new place
Decided on dishes/cup/staples shelves in kitchen

| Got bedroom painted - that is the last 'pre-move in' room to paint
last night we marked the 'need to touch up' but that is all a quick brush touch up tonight

| Last full day here - went to Soho to Milroy's to do some scotch buying and found an italian suit store and Pooch got shirts and ties then lunch with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) nitoda and twangman at the pub. time to start packing up. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| Though most of the trip is to meet the granddaughter we took today off to be tourists. Tube to Waterloo but to cloudy to do the eye and the film museum was closed for a special event. So back onto the tube and forbidden planet and the lunch at the plough and a few hours at British museum. Early Europe Japan. Rosetta. Parthenon
Then a local coffee place that was awful then back to the tube two changes at rush hour to hard rock for Pooch's B52 but they don't do the specialty drinks in the back room bar Wandered a bit to wellington statue then tube back to brixton.
